Promote Traditional Vocations

“Never was the contemplative vocation more precious or more relevant than in our modern restless world .”—St. John Paul II

Are you interested in:
Praying for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life?
Supporting traditional young women who desire to serve God and His holy Church?
Leaving a legacy for your children and grandchildren of a Church filled with holy, faithful religious who will pray for priests and also for your family?

We humbly invite you to consider financially supporting our aspirants, postulants, and novices during their initial formation in Carmel. Here are some ways you can help:

  • Become a monthly donor to help underwrite daily expenses for our new members.
  • Give a one-time gift of any size.
  • The Northern Michigan Catholic Foundation is offering a match opportunity for our endowment, matching all donations with a 25% match. To take advantage of this opportunity please send your support directly to the Northern Michigan Catholic Foundation at 308 West Main Street, Gaylord MI 49735 with memo: Carmelite Monastery Endowment Match. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to be matched by NMCF with $2,500. Please help us to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to increase our endowment, which yields an annual income to the monastery in perpetuity. Learn more.

While we realize that some donors desire to read the vocation stories of the individuals helped by their support, and we certainly appreciate other religious communities which have chosen to publish photos and names, yet it is more in keeping with the hidden spirit of Carmel for our new members to remain unidentified. We can assure you that they are all zealous for the glory of God, deeply in love with our Lord Jesus Christ, and that they also share one thing in common: their love for the traditional form of the Latin Mass has drawn them to our monastery! Each has her own unique story, but the holy Mass has played an indispensable role for each, in either her reversion to the Faith, or her growth in holiness and in awareness of her vocation to be a bride of Christ.
